Chair Massage
Chair massage is best suited for sessions of 15 - 45 minutes. This allows for a comprehensive treatment of the back, shoulders, neck, head and arms on an ergonomic chair. By positioning the chair in a separate room this style of massage enhances the ability to detach from the office stressors - freeing the employee to relax more fully. The longer chair massages can help increase mental clarity and heighten a good disposition.

With a chair massage the person will stay fully clothed and the therapist uses specific techniques that don’t require oil. Should clients wish to incorporate oil into their therapy this can be arranged on request.

You may think you or your employees can’t possibly spare 5 -15 minutes getting a quick massage but maybe you should be asking whether you can afford not to!

WHO research shows workplace health programs can reduce sick leave by 30%, and increase productivity by up to 53%.

These benefits far outweigh the cost of any wellness program you may implement.

A large number of companies are now realising the benefits of 5 -15 minutes seated massages. These sessions are offered during work hours and reduce stress, pain and increase staff morale. Most organisations subsidise the cost of the sessions whilst others give staff time off work to attend. Some companies see strong benefits so opt for weekly sessions whilst others book fortnightly or monthly.

Workstation Massage
With this style of massage the therapist walks between workstations delivering massages between 5 - 15 minutes. Seated at their desk your staff can either keep working or switch off and bliss out. This form of massage generally targets the high tension areas of neck, shoulders and upper back.

Table Massage
This is the deluxe version of workplace massage. TakeASeat will bring the massage table, towels, creams, music etc. Your employee is now ready to indulge in 30 - 90 minutes of peacefulness. As with the Chair Massage this therapy usually takes place in a separate room, where the stressors of the day can be totally forgotten.

Massage vouchers are extremely popular as a gift idea, i.e. staff reward, birthday present, wedding gift, new parents, etc.
